Praise Jesus and all that is Holy,
it's FINALLY FRIDAY!
I don't know about you all, but I'm so ready for this weekend. To start things off on the good foot, I was met with a Random Act of Kindness this morning at Starbucks. The car in front of me paid for my order! #YasDivahYasss I was speechless. I've heard of this happening multiple times, but I had never experienced it. I decided to pay it forward and take care of the car behind me. Out of curiosity as I pulled off I checked the rear view mirror to see if he continued to pay it forward. Guess what? He didn't. I immediately felt some type of way. I must also confess that some instant judgements ran through my head.

As I thought more about what happened, I had to check myself. 1) I did what I wanted to do and what was in my heart. Why did I assume that someone else would do the same? It was not a requirement to keep the blessing going. 2) That's what I get for being nosey and paying attention to folks behind me. Can I get an AMEN? Sometimes in life we get so caught up in what someone in our past is doing. Why do we do that? Why do we focus on what is behind us, and ignore the wonderfulness in front of us?
Divah Lesson: Follow your heart. Lose your expectations for other people. Focus on what's in front of you.
